This Is A Spoon Lands Two Shorts At Whistler.
This Is A Spoon Studios has landed two shorts for the Whistler Film Festival the first weekend of December.
The first is our award winning Crazy8's film 'I Love You So Much It's Killing Them', A pitch-black comedy about Vivian, a lonely serial killer whose three loves in life are math, accounting, and killing random people. This all changes when she meets the handsome Alex, a colleague who gives her a new reason to murder and maim. -Dec 3rd - 12:15PM - Maury Young Arts Centre
The second, 'Fathers and Son'. This project was for the #CanonHi5 short film contest and the rules were that we needed to shoot a film using no film lights and shoot it exclusively on the Canon C100 mkii (winner of the five teams gets to keep the camera). The writing and production team decided to up the challenge and tell a story completely in one well choreographed shot, with the main character being a baby... Director Joel McCarthy's newborn son, Bowie River McCarthy (handsome little nugget). -Dec 4th - 4:30 PM - Garfinkel's Members of the teams will be in attendance.
